smart and innovative communication and marketing tools at a low cost to all businesses and personal users.
Do I need an account to use iText?
Yes. You can either have a personal account or if your in business you can select one of our business packages.
How do I open an account?
Simply use our online account registration facility and register an account.
What are your account fees?
We only charge for business packages which are billed in advance on a monthly basis. Personal accounts are free.
What is a Short Code?
A short code is normally a 5 digit number that is used for routing text messaging sent by wireless subscribers
to mobile applications and services.
How are the charges for long text messages calculated?
Your message is split into a number of 154 characters sets and every 154 character set is charged at the
relevant text message rate. When you compose a message, a character counter will advise the number of
characters you have typed.
Can I send product content via email?
Yes iText has added an email facility within the product management tools for you to send your products via email.
What is the cost of emailing product content?
iText does not charge for sending email.
How do I purchase credits for sending text messages?
Use our TOPUP CREDIT option on our Account service Tool. Select the amount of credit required and click
buy now. All payments are processed via Pay pal. If you require another payment method please email accounts@itext.ie.
Can I use iText on another computer?
Yes iText is an online Business Tool, so long as you have access to The Internet, you can access iText.
How do I administer my product content?
You can manage your product content by using our Product Management Tool (PMT).
Can I send the product content without images?
Yes… Just edit your product and select remove images.
How can I tell my best performing products?
Your best performing products are automatically listed within the Top Products section below the Product
Management Tool. you can also use the reporting tool.
Can I reuse the product ID’s for another product?
Yes, just edit the Product ID and input the relevant details for new product including new images.
Why do I have to display the costs of texting a short code on my adverts?
It’s a legal requirement according to the regulator for premium short code services. www.regtel.ie , www.icstis.org.uk.
Can I have more than one account?
Yes but it will be setup as an separate account.
What networks are covered by iText?
iText offers coverage for all the major Irish mobile phone networks.
What are the costs for consumers to download images?
The cost for downloading images are set by there recipients network provider and are usually charged per kb.
Can I check the amount of product enquiries a product is getting?
Yes. iText provides a product history tool for you to check all enquiries and a reporting tool to run singular
and multiple reports on various products within your product content library.
